I tried shopping Scolari's last week and the cashier didn't want to double the coupon because I would end up getting the item for free. She said they can't let me take items for free. The manager agreed with her but said she could do it if she wanted. Anyways, I am looking at the coupon policy, and is this what they might be talking about "...if the double portion of the coupon exceeds the value of the item the coupon will be taken at face value." Did this change recently? When she tried to double the $1.00 coupon, it did not adjust to make the item free and instead gave me overage.
Hey just an fyi the Kraft sandwich shop mayo is $1.50 at walmart which makes them $.50 with the one dollar coupon from a few weeks back. I just tryed the chipotle and YUMMY. Also there is an internet coupon for glucerna cereal for $3 off on the internet which makes there cereal about .50 cents a box at walmart. I was sad to see there were such few sales at scolari's too...oh well it seems like you get a few good weeks and then some dry weeks.
I also noticed at smiths the tombstone pizzas are .50cents with internet coupon and philadelphia cream cheese is free with internet coupon and cambells spaghetios are only 39 cents a can. Usually I pay over a dollar per can at our walmart so a pretty good deal.

ok so I just found a coupon for spaghetios on the krazy coupon lady website .50 cents off on two so that would make them .14 cents each at Smiths!

I just recently had a cashier refuse to double a coupon because it would be one cent over the price of the item. It really depends on the cashier, I guess. Most of the time when my coupon is over the amount of the item, it only doubles to the price of the item. Sometimes it gives me an overage. I hate that it's so random.
I seem to have better luck when I go at night and it's not so busy and when I am buying other items...not just things I will get for free.

I'm excited to go to Smith's this week. There are some good coupon match-ups over at http://www.utahdealdiva.com/ for this sale. It runs for two weeks.
So you are totally going to think I'm a nerd but I went to smiths today and their spaghetios were only 29 cents instead of 39 cents so with the internet coupon they were only 4 cents a can....I know I am a nerd for being excited about this but I am!!!!
