There is a holiday weekend coming up. What do you have planned?
Four days. Four Events. All Free. Grab some friends and we'll see you there.

The Reno Phil kicks off the summer season with a free community concert for Saturday, July 3 at Bartley Ranch. “Pops at the Ranch” will feature the Reno Philharmonic Orchestra. This concert will present patriotic music to get the crowd ready for the 4th of July weekend. The orchestra will be lead by Jason Altieri, the conductor of the Reno Philharmonic Youth Orchestras and the UNR orchestra. NO TICKET IS REQUIRED FOR THIS SHOW.

Pops in the Park
July 4, 4:30 p.m. Pops in the Park, presented by the Sierra Philharmonic League - FREE
Mormon State Park, Genoa NV
The Reno Philharmonic Orchestra has performed at “Pops in the Park” in Genoa to capacity crowds for over 25 years, and could be a best kept secret up north in Reno. The Sierra Philharmonic League organizes the family friendly event with clowns, strolling musicians, along with silent and live auctions. The Philharmonic Orchestra with Dr. Jason Altieri caps off the day performing at Mormon State Park at 4:30 p.m.

Discover Percussion

Explore music through the instruments and the musicians! The Discover Music Program is comprised of musical ensembles of two to five musicians, who perform interactive child-friendly music programs.
