Shopping at Safeway

I felt like I hit a home run at Safeway this morning. (My son is playing baseball this year, so I think in baseball terms.)


1 pineapple - $1.48 (had to enter coupon manually)
8 lbs. of strawberries - $1.00/lb.
4 lbs. frozen chicken - $5.76 (had to enter coupon manually)
2 Lunchables - $0.99 each (got $2.00 back)
1 Cin. Toast Crunch - $0.49
1 Honey Nut Cherrios - $0.06 overage
2 BC cookie mix - $0.25 each
1 BC cake mix - $0.25 each
2 BC frostings - $0.25 each
2 Peanut butters - $0.99 each
9 Welch's grape juice - $1.00 each
1 Capri Sun - $0.49
2 Windex - $2.00 each (more than expected) (got $2 back)
2 Old Spice Body Wash - FREE
1 Pampers diapers - $2.99
(Items found in clearance section and used coupons)
2 S&W cream corn - $0.45 each
4 Gerber baby food - $0.35 each
1 Beech Nut baby snack - $0.35

GRAND TOTAL: $41.53 and got $4 back
Price without coupons and club card: $140.67
Total saved: $99.14!
