Basically I shop the sales and stop by Wal-Mart to pick up the rest of the things we need. That is our entire shopping for the week! Obviously not all of this will be consumed in a week and that surplus is part of our 3-month supply. Hopefully this gives you a better view of how I am building our food storage by purchasing more than we need in the moment when it's on sale!

This was totally fabulous! I can't wait to show Dad. Hopefully he won't expect me to be this good. If he does, no more coupons for you:)

Dad wants to know what ICBINB is?

Wow. This is amazing!

Not so amazing, but still fun: We recently went up to the Truckee Children's Museum and found out that the first Tuesday of every month is $1 for each person. It's an amazing little place, well organized and very fun. Definitely worth the drive if it's $1 per person.

Guess where I'll be the 1st Tuesday in March? SWEET! Thanks for the info.

Wow, this is impressive! How did you score the cheap tortillas and "Better than free" salsas?

The tortillas were on sale last week at Scolari's and I had a coupon from a while back. I don't know if it's still available but here is the link in case they go on sale again:

Here is a link to the how-to for the salsa coupons:

Kristi,
The salsa is included in the Smith's Buy 10 Mega Event for $1.50. Forgot to mention that.
