if you catch that the coupon for the veggies didn't double completely when you go through checkout, can they make it right?

I don't think so. They have a funny system that (supposedly) won't allow for giving overages when doubling coupons.

One can costs $0.69, so it won't double the full $1.00, just the $0.69...even though you have to buy 4 to use the coupon.

I've emailed Scolari's about this and they don't see it as getting four for $0.19 but getting one for more than free, which isn't allowed.

This is the direct explanation from them:

"Thank you for visiting our website and contacting us with your question. The coupon will not double if it exceeds the price of the item, in your example if the coupon was doubled it will still exceed the price of one item. Our coupon policy states that we will not double if the coupon exceeds the amount of the item."
